Being an Observer is not an option.

The Defender Foundation was formed to help answer that overwhelming, gut wrenching feeling that asks us...

What can I do about it?

Become involved.

Human Trafficking is the 2nd largest criminal enterprise in the world. It is growing so fast, it is headed to number one. You probably know something about the current number 1, the Drug Trade, or the current number 3, (and it was number 2 only a year and a half ago.) the Arms Trade... but what do you know about Human Trafficking?

Spreading awareness is critical. This cannot be allowed to thrive in ignorance and darkness. We have to spread light on this cancer that is growing across our entire world.

If you are in the North Florida area, The Defender Foundation meets every third Tuesday of the month. These meetings are generally open to the public, unless it is announced that this will be a closed members only meeting. Check our Current Events page for details or...

San Diego, California Chapter- Coming Soon!

The Defender Foundation has so many ways to become involved. We volunteer to help any organization in our area that is fighting Human Trafficking with volunteers and projects. The Defender Foundation is always busy. We are supporting the building of several local shelters and will be swinging hammers and lugging materials when that time comes. We have an Adopt a Hotel Program, a Human Trafficking Victim Letter Writing program. Future care package program and many things that our members have yet to imagine. Become a member and YOU can help choose our next project.

You can volunteer as much as you desire, or less for an already busy and hectic life.

Contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Katie Baranowski for how you can help.
