It's official: The CASE Act will be on the ballot this November!

The Secretary of State's office has informed us, after reviewing the hundreds of thousands of signatures we submitted, that our initiative has officially qualified. That means, this fall, California voters will have the opportunity to take a stand and fight back against the sexual exploitation of women and children by human traffickers.

This is huge news! By this time next year, the CASE Act could be law -- but only if we work together to make the case to voters across California.

Victims are counting on you and California to speak up! Your signature will help place the CASE Act measure on the ballot so voters can vote for it.

Things are heating up for the future chapter in the San Diego area. If you are interested in working as volunteer staff in this area, please contact us at info@thedefenderfoundation.org for opportunities to change lives for the better. Meetings for the After Care Team are already being done in San Diego and within the next couple of months, we will need volunteers to help with the volunteer committees, shelter support team, initial opening event, legislative team, education team and yes, even the Shield Teams.
